2003 Dodge Caravan - Sport Passenger

    Pros: comfort of front seats

Cons: in need of constant repairs.

Advice: Just don't buy one.....keep your sanity.

We bought our Grand Caravan Sport in July/03. Before it had 13,000kms on it, the brake roters died on it and had to be replaced. The front strut mount went after 13 months. It just went again....9 months later!!! Brakes are totally worn out now too. The plastic cupholders broke after months. This van is a terrible waste of money. Honda CRV....here we come. I will NEVER own an American made vehicle again!

2003 Dodge Caravan - Sport Passenger

    Pros: comfort

    Cons: cost of repairs

    Advice: stay away

Drives good. Comfortable on long trips. I have had numerous and very expensive problems with my 2001 Grand Caravan. The two most recent are both window motors went out within a week of each other and A/C problems. The motors will cost over $500 to repair. The A/C has a problem with the drivers side regulation of cold air. Apparently there is a door stuck internally and the hot and cold air mix resulting in a very uncomfortable summer. This problem alone is estimated to cost $700 because the dash must be removed. The dealer and Dodge/Chrysler have refused any assistance. I paid $24K for this vehicle and will never buy another Dodge/Chrysler product.

2005 Dodge Caravan - SXT Passenger

Pros: Stoll-away seating and large enough cargo room to carry full 4x8 sheets.

Cons: nothing, Its just a great Van.

Advice: Well worth your time to look into. The salesman I had spent lots of time showing me all the different options and helping me figure out what I really wanted in a van. He was very patient we me and answered all my questions.

It was the best riding van I tested

2004 Dodge Caravan - SXT Passenger

    Pros: the style

    Cons: trade in value

Advice: Buy a toyota sienna or a Honda minivan

My car is a 2005 dodge caravan sxt. The selling price of my minivan after taxes was $20000. A week latter, with only 200 miles, I tried to trade in for a toyota sienna. The most I got for my car was $13,500. The Toyota finance manager called Sherman Dodge, the dealer where I purchased my car, they offered only $13000. Dodge caravans have negative quality ratings in consumerreview.com . It is a nice car but I am worried about the longterm durability of its transmition and engine. I am not happy with my car...but this is the only car that I can affort rigth now. Buy a toyota sienna or a Honda minivan. Those cars will give you peace of mind. Those cars have one of highest posive ratings.

2005 Dodge Caravan - SXT Passenger

Pros: E85 fuel option is the best

    Cons: Color

Advice: Stow and Go is the way to go

The drive is quiet and pleasant. There is enough space for multiple children and the midrange motor provided plenty of get up and go.

2003 Dodge Caravan - SE Passenger

    Pros: SMOOTH RUNNING ENGINE

    Cons: WIND NOISE

Advice: BUY IF YOU NEED JUST AN OK MINIVAN

POWER IS QUITE GOOD, RIDE IS OK ON SMOOTH ROADS, BUT NOT SO GOOD ON BUMPY ROADS. WIND NOISE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS IS AWFUL-MAINLY AROUND THE SLIDING DOORS. SLIDING DOORS LEAK WHEN USING A HIGH PRESSURE CAR WASH. DEALER SAID MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THIS, BUT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT--YEAH RIGHT!! ALL IN ALL NOT A BAD VAN FOR THE PRICE.
