Pros: Do all vehicle
Cons: noneHave had this since new and has 60000 miles on it. Only in the shop for oil changes. Can get close to 30 mpg on the highway if I baby it up with a 3.3 engine. Great utility vehicle. I am an old guy so do not need a sexy car, just a comfortable one.
Pros: ride, room
Advice: get dealer to comit to break life and ABSI've had my Caravan 3 years with a total of 47000kms. I'm now having my 3rd set of breaks installed. 1st set went at 20000kms and dealer tried to tell me this is normal wear. My Nissan van went over 50000kms before 1st break job. What should I expect? This is a very sore point with me and plan not to purchase Dodge again for this reason. I own a Miata (great) Nissan Stanza(great) SusukiSK(Great) Dodge Caravan (NOT GREAT) Nick in Vancouver
Pros: All the storage room and I get the rated mpg in city and highway driving
Cons: Horsepower could be stronger and the turning diameter tighter
Advice: If you don't need all the storage, Honda or Toyota may be better for youMy 2003 Chevy Trailblazer just did not have enough room for packing all our stuff (just my wife and myself) on our 3-4 week vacations. So after this summer's vacation with the incentives so large, we bought the Grand Caravan SXT with Sto-N-Go. The vehicle rides very smooth, has comfortable front seats, middle seats are good, but the rear seat is tight with the legroom for adults. However, the concept of Sto-N-Go is just what we needed. I store things in the floor where the second seats will be stored. You can buy a durable plastic storage container with lid at Target or Wal-Mart that fits in the storage well perfectly. We did get the optional power liftgate and side curtain airbags. It would have been nice if Dodge included power windows in the slider doors, backlit headlight knob, a light in the glove compartment and under the hood.
Pros: fold in the floor seating
Cons: gas millage
Advice: take 30% off the mileage on the window stickerVan felt solid and drove well with good proformance.
Pros: Stoll-away seating and large enough cargo room to carry full 4x8 sheets.
Cons: nothing, Its just a great Van.
Advice: Well worth your time to look into. The salesman I had spent lots of time showing me all the different options and helping me figure out what I really wanted in a van. He was very patient we me and answered all my questions. It was the best riding van I tested
Pros: E85 fuel option is the best
Advice: Stow and Go is the way to goThe drive is quiet and pleasant. There is enough space for multiple children and the midrange motor provided plenty of get up and go.
Pros: - sliding doors on both sides and flexible rear seating arangments
Cons: - lack of engine power and road noise
Advice: get the 6 cyl and undercoatingWe purchaced our Caravan in August. Overall we love it. It has been a very good vehicle so far. We got ours with the 4 cyl. engine and it seems to be a little under powered. I had hoped that the 4 cyl. would get better gas milage. We get between 19 - 21 miles/gallon. To anyone thinking of getting a Caravan I suggest getting the 6 cyl. engine, for the difference you get in gas milage you get more power for when you may need it. Also get the body undercoating to cut down on road noise. Other than the two things I mentioned it is a wonderful vehicle.
