Great little car ... and cute, too
Cons: The only weakness I can see is that the paint is very thin, thought the color is great.I love this car. It's fun to drive and very comfortable, with better seats than Honda or Subaru (our last two cars). It has a fine Garmin navigation system, and true keyless operation ... and the sound system is much better than H & S, too. We're at 3200 miles now, and getting about 29 mpg avg.
Canada screwed up a good product
Pros: Electronics are nice
Cons: RattlesThe Lexus RX line has been the benchmark for all to follow until now. My new RX 350 looks nice, fit is good not excellent, ride is rough if not down right poor and the worst problem are rattles. I mean lots of rattles. Little to no quality control. Buy a Honda CRV and save a lot of cash.
Pros: The look
Cons: Didn't get to drive it enough
Advice: Find a goood dealer who listens I know one in san diego area. Bryan Williams Toyota/Scion of El CajonHandles very well has great power. Roomy and spacious.
Pros: The color (inferno red pearl coat) and the style of the exterior
Cons: The interior materials and quality
Advice: Look at all your options and decide what kind of suv your looking for.the 2010 nitro should not be confused with non truck like suv's.the ride and handeling of this suv is firm and can transmit jolts to its occupants when the pavement is any thing less than smooth.Though the front seats are comfortable and the dash layout and controls are easy to reach and use,the interior plastic should be brought to par with its competetors. I don't think the dodge boys were trying to make a posh suv but one that was rugged and had truck like ability and tough looks. The 3.7l motor works fine but could use a five speed trans and 3.55 gears instead of the 3.73 that came standard in my vehicle that is a 4x4. this would help the mpg's. Overall I like this suv and if properly maintained it should last a long time. This is a utility/truck suv that has a true off road feel to it with up right seating without to much posh. So if all out comfort is what you are looking for this may not be your cup of joe. but if rugged good looks solid practicality and true 4 wheel drive ability are. Then you might just want to look at the dodge nitro 4x4 or 4x2 models.
Cons: it rolls on hills
Advice: great family cardoes GREAT on the highway. we filled up once the whole time we were in San Francisco.
Pros: handeling and performance and the overall feel of the road. and what a cool roof
Cons: excellent hi-tech features and hook ups on radio, but could sound better
Advice: 18' wheels for handeling, 4-motion for capability, roof for a great experience for all passengersmy first and last words on the test drive were, 'wow'. A real drivers vehicle.
Pros: The drivetrain.
Cons: The console.
Advice: The '09's are pretty rare, so it may take some searching around to find one.I bought my 2009 Caliber SRT-4 in August of '09. It now has 10,000 miles. I have been very impressed with this vehicle so far and have had zero problems. The performance is excellent. Using the in-dash performance computer, I can achieve 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and have hit the 1/4 mile in 13.7 seconds at 100 mph. I think that's pretty quick for a 100% stock car. I love the aggressive look of the car and also the extra room versus other compact hot rods. My only (slight) dislike is a somewhat awkward seating-to-console position. There's no clearance to use the console iPod mount while shifting gears. Other than that, I give the '09 Caliber SRT-4 a 9 out of 10.
