2003 Saab 9-3 - Linear Sport Sedan
Pros: Automatic/Manual Transmission
Cons: Quirkey Cup Holder
Advice: Drive the car -it will speak for itselfHaving read the review of the new 93 sport sedan,we decided to take a test drive.I really wasn't expecting anything boy was I suprised!Opon looking the vehicle over I was pleasently suprized at the workmanship of the body, how the doors fit,the paint finish I haven't seen this kind of attention to detail in a long time. The saab engineers sure earned their paychecks. The test drive was equally suprising. The car handles like a sports car.I just love that transmission(Automatic/Manual)It shifts like a Champ Car Push the shifter foward to go up a gear and pull back to go down a gear.Compared to the 2002 Nissan Altima we have now, there's just no comparison.I never concidered a Saab before but I bet we will be trading by spring.
2003 Audi A4 - T (A5) quattro Sedan
Pros: Heated Seats
Cons: Rear winodw
Advice: Get an internet price quote!! I saved over $2000 dollars that way!Very fun to drive! The A4 has a nice quiet, smooth ride. The steering is very responsive: I can take turns much faster than I usually do. The car also has great acceleration. Love the standard 6-disk CD changer, and the stereo has decent sound, even without the BOSE upgrade. My wife vowed never to leave the passenger seat once she turned on the heated seats. That's fine with me! I get to drive! I do have some reservations about this car though. When the car is in the 'D' position, it likes to downshift a lot, especially when changing speeds on the highway. However, the acceleration is much smoother when I use the 'S' position for driving. The downside is that I don't get optimum gas mileage when I do that. The 1.8T as of now does not come with power seats, which is kind of annoying since my wife and I have to re-adjust the seats mirror, etc. every time we switch drivers. I think I heard power driver seat will be included in a package later in the year though. Another thing that bothers me about the A4 is the fact that the rear window is very small, and there are blind spots generated by the wide pillars flanking the rear window. It makes it very hard to parallel park, although I'll probably get used to it over time. Overall, I believe this car was a great buy. Compared to any other luxury car, you get a lot more of both fun and elegance per buck. Looking to buy your first 'nice' car? Consider the Audi A4: It's worth it!
2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (180A) Convertible
Advice: get stickfun
2002 Audi TT - quattro Quattro Roadster
Pros: Climate control and automatic top
Advice: Test drive on highway and back roadsThis car handles like a dream! I'm taking longer routes home just because driving is so enjoyable!
2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe
Pros: The exterior styling. Turns a lot of heads.
Cons: The seats could be a little more comfortable. Not enough lateral control for those hard corners.
Advice: if your looking for raw power make sure you look at the Cobra SVT's before making your final decisionI have owned a 2002 GT with the premium package since April '02. The vehicle is incredible. The 4.6l had outstanding torque and the suspension handles every bit of it. It's a very smooth ride and the cabin in the hardtops is very sound-proof. When you need that extra power to get up to speed on the on-ramps or just want to pass that long semi-trailer, this car will impress just about anyone.
2003 Ford Mustang - SVT Coupe
Pros: Looks, seats, handling and acceleration.
Cons: Gas mileage sucks, but I will save money elsewhere to compensate
Advice: Haul azz to your closiest dealer and purchase one.Drove it on 9/14/02 at about 3pm. Bought the car on 9/14/02 at about 3:15pm. This car is just awesome. I owned a 91 GT and a 97 Cobra Coupe before this car. I've only had the car for about 5 days. I don't plan on driving this car like the typical 17 year old idiot, though I was one about 18 years ago. Once I break this rocket in, I'll explore a little bit, but I plan on taking care of this car. I purchased this vehicle on the Z-plan from ford for $31,052. Ford then took an additional $2500 bucks off cause I actually wanted a silver one. Black worked just fine!!! Hated to get rid of the 97 Cobra, but this car is something else. If this car was made in germany, it would cost $60000 grand. If you want a performance car and want to have some money afterwards, look no further. This car rocks!!!!!
2003 Chevrolet Corvette - Base Coupe
Pros: The interior design
Cons: The lights.
Advice: Make the humps slimmer.Dont worry about what i think for this matter.
