Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: The ENGINE, baby, the engine
Cons: the interior isn't great, it's not very sleek inside, compared to the outside look
Advice: Make sure you have another car for everyday driving!!!I saw one of these when I was passing by a car dealer in L.A., and I knew I had to have one. People have told me in the past that they weren't very comfortable, but I read these test drive reviews when I got home to see. People actually RAVED about their comfort. This is one of the neatest, fastest, sports cars I have owned...I basically bought it before I even test drove it, it looked so stylish and fun. If you've got the $$$ to afford this sweet car, GO FOR IT! The new redesigned ergonomic seats are really comfortable!
Cons: High speed wind sound in cabin with top up.
Advice: Don't pay MSRPWonderful blend of comfort and performance. Hugs the road. My son is trained in high speed chase, and loves the car. The 'skin' turns heads.
Pros: my custom glasspack exhaust system, LOUD!!!
Cons: I LOVE EVERYTHING!
Advice: Black is very hard to keep clean!!!!Love at first sight, passion at first drive! when i took this new gt out in a test drive i fell in love and i just had to get it, it by far is the most beautiful and fastest car i have ever owned. great bang for the buck! i definantly recomend you buy one!
Pros: Quattro 4 wheel drive
Cons: Rear seat leg room a bit cramped, but so is the BMW
Advice: It's cheaper the the BMW with more features, same performanceI drove an A4 3.0 liter automatic and loved it. I then tested a BMW 330xi, which I also liked, and went back and drove them both the same day. I still like the Audi. The BMW has a stiffer, harsher ride. The Audi was much smoother, and I don't feel it lacks anything in performance over the BMW in either cornering or acceleration. The Audi's 4 wheel drive system is also superior.
Pros: The Audi-clone 1.8T Motor.
Cons: The back seat is a painful joke for American-sized consumers.
Advice: Buy one! Possibly the best inexpensive commute car I have ever owned. It handles well and has sufficient acceleration to appease this American V-8 afficianado. Interior room is fantastic in the front seats. I can fit my 6'2' 270 pound body inside quite easily and actually is a spacious as my full-size pickup. Fit and finish are superb for a car at this price range. No one could touch the number of standard features it includes at this price.
Pros: The Turbo - Acceleration and the security accessories, esp the Ignition Key
Cons: the poor marketing by SAAB
Advice: Fun car to driveFor a 4-cyl car, the acceleration is magnificent. I would say it is not better than a BMW like-model, but it felt better than the Audi 4 1.8T. The handling of curves is also magnificent - I actually took a sharp curve going at 40mph and traction was great. The driver seat is very comfortable, the controls are easy to understand, and the computerized electronics make this car one of the best technologically advanced cars I have driven.
Pros: Alarm ( doors, trunk, hood, interior motion, shock, and battery)
Cons: refrigerated glove box is overkill for interior features.
Advice: When you test drive, find a curvy road and step on it.For a car with 2.0 liter engine, this cars moves with the acceleration and top speed of much larger sport V6's. The handling is incredible, with a ton of mechanical features to make the car sporty yet smooth. I would never have believed that I would own a Saab. My dealer showed me a 9-3 convertible that had rolled into a ditch, slammed into the drainage pipe, and flipped end over. The occupants survived without a scratch and the convertible supports were still completely intact and rigid.
