Summer is in full swing so that means it’s time put on your favorite pair of sunglasses, turn up the volume on your radio, and drop the top on that convertible. These days convertibles (or cabriolets) come with a soft-top or hardtop. No matter how you like it, as long as you’re wearing some sunscreen and enjoying the wind flowing through your hair on a bright sunny day.

Don’t have a convertible? Well, we’re here to help.Nothing feels as luxurious as hitting up the Pacific Coast Highway in a luxury convertible vehicle so with that in mind, we decided to create a list of Top 10 Luxury Convertibles to help you kick off your summer.

2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class was recently completely redesigned and re-engineered. Following the sleek and beautiful coupe version of the C-Class, Mercedes-Benz went on to release the drop-top version. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is one of the sexiest convertibles on our list and in its segment. Power comes from a 241-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine. If you’re feeling the need for more speed, you can go for the 503-hp AMG C63 S Cabriolet or the 362 AMG C43 Cabriolet. No matter which model you go for, the soft-top of the C-Class Convertible drops in 20 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph.

Oh, and if you're driving your C-Class Convertible on a chilly summer night, make sure you activate the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system.

2017 BMW 4-Series Convertible

Unlike the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Convertible, the 2017 BMW 4-Series Convertible opts for a hardtop - meaning it keeps its coupe profile when the top is closed and can instantly turn into a convertible when you want to enjoy the open skies. Most convertibles are known to sacrifice balance and dynamics due to the added weight of the top. However, BMW says that the longer wheelbase, wider track, lower right height, and the upgraded suspension will allow you to drive this convertible like a coupe.

Engine choices for the 2017 BMW 4-Series Convertible range from a 248-hp four-cylinder turbo engine to a 444-hp M4 Convertible.
