Jurists chose the Audi RS4 as the 2007 Performance Car of the Year, which makes complete sense until you realize that it went head-to-head with the Porsche 911 Turbo. BMW’s outstanding new 335i Coupe was also passed over. Given that 44 road testers from around the planet selected the RS4, which is essentially a factory-tuned version of an entry-luxury sedan that first arrived on the market in 2001, underscores just how good this car is to drive and how serious Audi is about performance.
