With the CX-9, Mazda is headed into competitive waters and will go up against the likes of the newly restyled Toyota Highlander, soon-to-be redesigned Honda Pilot and GM’s new crossover offerings such as the Saturn Outlook or the GMC Acadia. All offer benefits, and Mazda can arguably claim a more performance-oriented experience with three-rows available. That, along with a nicely styled interior and exterior, means that the Mazda CX-9 is sure to attract its fair share of the growing crossover market. The only question is how many of those people attracted to the CX-9 demand zoom-zoom-zoom, compared to the two-row zoom-zoom available in the CX-7...
