2007 Kia Rondo First Drive
| Driving: Third Row |
| |
The third row is a handy feature of the Rondo, in our opinion worth the $500. It’s not that it’s the most comfortable seat in the Rondo, far from it. The row is cramped for adults, but easy to access thanks to the tilting second row seats. But the utility of a third row is worth its weight when you need it. The only concern we have is with safety. There are only a few inches of body structure between the third row seatback and a poorly-driven SUV. There is no LATCH child seat anchor in the back row (there are two on the second row), a subtle hint that maybe the third row isn’t the best place for junior.
