The climate controls use three of GM’s large rubber-gripped knobs. That’s good, because we like the way they feel in our hands, but they unfortunately felt wobbly and imprecise, especially for the rear seat controls. They are large and easy to read though. The automatic setting was also wonky; even though the cabin felt warm at times and the temperature control was at its lowest setting, the fan was producing a bare trickle of cool air. Clustered around the middle knob are secondary controls, including the very effective two-level seat heaters. We were disappointed to find that the recirculate button didn’t work in fully automatic mode, which doesn’t make a lot of sense.
