The 2007 Mazda CX-9’s upscale cabin design features a pretty high level of craftsmanship. The driver’s cockpit is well laid out, and allows for all sizes of drivers, with a steering column and power driver’s seat that’s adjustable eight ways. Blacked out brightly-edged gauges on the T-shaped instrument panel are easy to read. Large entertainment and climate controls are easy to reach and have a pleasant feel to manipulate. The center console-mounted gear selector is well placed and easy to shift. Also notable are the blue indirect interior lights evolved from the Mazda3 and indirect lights on the door trim and overhead console.
