2006 Pontiac Solstice

Pontiac’s first production roadster comes to us as the 2006 Solstice. Look out Mazda, there is a new kid in town! The Solstice comes with a 2.4-liter, 177-horsepower engine mated to a short-throw five-speed manual transmission. Folks who don’t want to row their own gears can choose a five-speed automatic that’s planned for later in the model year. Keeping with today’s style, Pontiac ponied up and has fit the Solstice with standard 18-inch, five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. The 2006 Pontiac Solstice is a much-anticipated entry into the world of top-down, two-seat motoring.
