With its large double-spoked wheels, metallic mirror housings and windshield surround, chrome trimmed grille, and bright red paint, our Audi S4 was tough to miss, especially when we took the 21 seconds to drop the top. Plenty of passersby took notice of this car wherever we drove it. The headlamp shapes are somewhat incongruous, and the front overhang is excessive, but otherwise this is a clean and balanced design. The interior is gorgeous, with just enough glitz in the silver accents and carbon fiber trim to add interest without going over the top. At night, the white gauges and red backlit controls are models of clarity.
