Based on the reaction from onlookers, the Jaguar XK is a sexy car. Especially when viewed from the rear three-quarter view, with its flared haunches and side detailing plainly visible, the Jaguar is a long way from ugly. Up front, critics have derided the Jag for a grille that looks like what the Ford Taurus wore between 2000 and 2003, but the reality is that Ford ripped off a classic Jaguar cue for that forgettable sedan. My issue is with the XK's headlamp clusters, the elements of which are arranged to make the Jag appear cross-eyed.
