2007 Jeep Wrangler

There are no mountains in Detroit. Not a one, not even a good-sized hill, which must have posed quite a problem for Jeep, DaimlerChrysler’s rugged, tough guy nameplate, given the fact that it was planning to debut the 2007 Jeep Wrangler at the 2006 North American International Auto Show.

So Jeep built its own mountain, drove a redesigned Wrangler off the show stage, through the crowd, through a window (yes, through), across the street and up to the top of Jeep Mountain for all to see. That’s a sight many of Jeep’s competitors won’t enjoy, as the all-new 2007 Jeep Wrangler is bigger and better than ever – and available in the fall of 2006.
