This SUV zipped right up a 35 degree incline with no problem. It was as if the SUV itself was having fun. There were some deep ruts in the road and I hardly felt them. The vehicle has excellent rock clearance. The seats are very comfortable. I traded in my 2008 Chevy Truck for the Forrester and I don't regret it one bit." Starlyn  L.
