"Needed a car for our daughter. Traded in our 2001 Durango getting 11 MPG on a good day to get her something with better gas milage. Went with the 4 cylinder in the SEL. We consider it one of our best purchases. The Fusion is an incredible vehicle. Comfortable, good looking, nice inside with the interior laid out well as most Fords are, Handles well, and gets good gas mileage. Over the last year, average is 24-27 city, and 31-33 on the highway. All depending on driving conditions and whether ones in a hurry or not. Safety was a big concern for us. Our daughter was recently in an accident, hit from the rear while stopped and sitting still, by a Saturn traveling 55 mph. She walked away with a bump on the head from hitting the steering wheel when hitting the car in front of her. The Fusioon looked like it had been hit at 20mph, the Saturn was totaled. 10,000 dollars worth of damage. I drove the competitors while the car was in the shop,(camry, accord) and none came close in comfort and driving/handling. Bottom line the Fusion is a great car, and is put together to please the eye, the wallet, while keeping the occupant safe with its great frame and many safety features. "

"LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I have had my new 2007 Fusion for about a week. It's fantastic, a very smooth ride and great acceleration. I have the V6 AWD which handled beautifully with all the rain and slick roads we've had. The style of the car is great with a very roomy interior. Even the back seat is comfortable. "

"My Wife and I just traded in our 2005 Ranger 4X4 because we couldn't afford the gas mailage any longer. We test drove the Mustanf and then the Fusion and knew this was it. Not to mention more for the buck. I am an old race car driver and this thing handles the curves like a dream. Interior is pretty roomy for my 6'4' body. Won't drive it much though without prying my Wife out of it. Been a Ford man all my 58 years and they did it again! They could however make the back window a little different as it is tricky to back. CAREFUL!!!!! Went to get a Stang, but reality set in that I am an old man. Besides, the Fusion handles better."

"In my opinion the fusion is not meant to be a performance vehicle. it replaces the taurus, and exceeds expectations.
the v6 has plenty of power, the ride smoothe and quiet.
a great choice for a mid size sedan. the awd v6 a good value compared to competition.
the blower motor is on continuously, even when the fan is not. this is annoying. you must turn the cotrols off to have quiet. of course you will either freeze or bake to death by doing so.
all in all i am very pleased with my new fusion
