"I have 2006 Off Road 4x4 since July2006. Now it has 25000Km
passed trough dry, hot, rain, snow, ice and mud. Nothing to say, but Excellent. All the automatic features worked perfect. Takes a lot of abuse and does not get decivilized. One car wash and looks like a pearl coming from car show.

"265 HP engine is way too much for the short-wheel base of this vehicle. Way too much torque. When you punch it, the steering wheel jerks a little, because it pulls way too hard too fast. My wife wrecked hers because of this. Would be ok for someone who wasn't a lead foot though. Lots of room in the back seat, and is the perfect vehicle for camping and playing around. Very tall interior. This is NOT a family vehicle. Big Tires are kinda loud, and it does ride a little more stiff than the Pathfinder. "

"Such a rough ride! We bought the Xterra new because it was still priced in the $20's the rest of the cars/SUV's we liked were in the 30's...but my goodness it's very plain jane, super bumpy and the road noise is bad. Knock on wood it has been good to us, no real problems. but I would not buy it again, it's also bad on gas..."
