GENERAL COMMENTS

"I bought my first new Sierra in June of 04, After driving Ford, Toyota, and Dodge My Sierra blows them all away. This truck has it all comfort, power, and looks. I love the off road package and have already tested it with spectacular results. I have owned several other 4X4s in the past years and this one puts them to shame. "

"Excellent handling for a long wheel-base pickup. Stiff suspension is standard with tow package, but is excellent when towing. Plenty of power with 5.3 L engine and decent mileage, up to 20 MPG on highway, averaging 17.5 MPG combined. Comfortable seating, even on long drives. Braking is excellent, even with the return to drums on rear. Dual caliper discs with larger rotors on front seem to provide better brake quality than previous years with rear discs. Entire truck is well put together, very tight."

"This truck is amazing and hands down the best I found in all categories except one. When I first sat in the truck it really only took me a few minutes to decide that I wanted it. The handling was like a car yet it still had a tough truck feel to it. The seats where by far the best in comfort in its class. I looked at the Fords and they should really be embarrassed to put those seats in there trucks compared to these. The Dodge was also nice. But it was really all the features and the capabilities of the truck that sold me on it. The on star and the mirrors fold and when you put it in reverse they lower so that you can see the curb. But best of all you can set all of these options through the computer to how you want them to be all the way down to the timing for the automatic headlights. This is truly a great truck that gives you all that you need to get a hard job done but still be comfortable on those long road trips. So back to the one thing that I do not like about the truck. Unlike the Ford and Dodge the interior is somewhat plane. It does not really have that sporty feel that the others do with the two tone leather and chrome on the dash. But with that being said I still bought it because there really is no competition when it comes to the options and comfort. "

"I've had a 2004 Sierra extended cab for 14 months. The interior space makes this a luxury vehicle for me. Long drives are a breeze, you can stretch out and relax. The back seat has an amazing amount of legroom for an extended cab, but the seat back is a bit too upright for long trips. I've had zero problems with this truck. It was a 'work truck' model that I bought new for $18,700. What a great value! The turn radius makes this truck frustrating to park. I have to go forward, backward, forward, to get it in. I don't understand why they don't make bedliners a standard feature. Don't believe GM's threats that their Delco stereos can't be replaced without extensive electronic gadgetry or reprogramming. A saavy car stereo guy will pop in an aftermarket unit and all you lose is the annoying beeping when you leave the door ajar, which you won't miss. "
