The 2002 Excursion 4x2 is a 4-door, up to 9-passenger sport-utility, available in 12 trims, ranging from the XLT 5.4L - 100A to the Limited Ultimate 7.3L - 350A. The 2002 Excursion 4x2's closest competitors include the Chevrolet All New TrailBlazer, the GMC Envoy XL, and the Toyota Sequoia. Upon introduction, the XLT 5.4L - 100A is equipped with a standard 5.4-liter, V8, 255-horsepower engine.
