Favorite feature: |
48MPG!!!!!!!! With Plenty of power. |
Least favorite feature: |
Cloth seats are a little thin, its worth spending the extra $$ for the Leather seats. |
Advice to buyer: |
Don't drive it like a gas car, it has a different power band but once you learn it, its quick. |
Detailed review: |
I love my Jetta GLS TDI! I drive 100 miles per day in rush hour traffic and am averaging 44-48mpg. With the manual transmission the car feels like a V6 on the interstate. It does sound a little odd and the power range took some getting use to but once I learned how to drive it and get the most power out of it, I was hooked. Don't let the 90hp fool you, it has 177 ft-lbs of torque and accelerates to pass nicely on the highway. I wish I would have gotten leather because the standard cloth seats are a little thin. |
