I was in a bad accident last year and my 2002 Corolla was totalled. I was looking for a car and I would never buy a used car. I was almost buying a 2004 Corolla when I dropped by the Mazda dealer to test drive a Mazda 3. It was love at first drive! I left the dealer with a new 3I. It has been a year since and it is 15000 mi on the clock. I have never been so satisfied driving ever since I drove my brother's BMW. I am not kidding. I think spending a couple of grands for 12 hp more (the 3s) is not worth since the 148 hp is more than adequate to get you off the stop light. And talking about handling, it is the coolest one. Economy? I get 27mi to gallon in city and 34-36 in hwy. I do have faced some problems in one year. Check engine lights came up twice. Dealer fixed it. Windows roll down by its own. But these are minor. The pleasure I get from driving reduces all the problems to negative values. I am in love with my car !!!! |
