I own a 2004 Prius. I have been driving for 40 years. This is the best car I have ever owned. I also own a '98 Lexus 400, which is a great car, but I prefer to drive my Prius. Not only is the Prius, pound for pound, the most superior car I have ever driven, but it makes me feel good about myself, because I feel I am now part of the solution, instead of continuing to be part of the problem. The air we pollute, and the lung cancer and heart attacks we cause, by driving ordinary cars, is killing us, our children, and financially strangling our economy and nation. If we are to be moral and responsible Americans, parents and citizens, I can not imagine any other vehicle to drive. The simple truth is that Toyota makes the best cars in the world -- the most durable, the most trouble free, the most reliable, and needing the least amount of repairs. It is a no brainer. Also, it is thoroughly entertaining to drive the Prius. It is like playing a video game while driving -- you manipulate the gas pedal in such a way as to maximize the economical operation of the vehicle. I submit that the people who drive Prius's exhibit exceptional character and virtue, because they are helping all of us. I have also noticed that I seem to receive better, preferential treatment from law enforcement, presumably because the morality of my driving choice is duly appreciated.
