The inconveniences of an exotic without any of the panache. A handsome and extremely comfortable car that is fraught with design and build quality problems. The net result is a service shop queen that Volvo accepts no reaponsibility for after its in your driveway, and this is really the key point. Many highline cars with new technologies have had birthing problems that were corrected by proactively responsive manufacturers that understood the importance of satisfying their customers and insulating them from design and build problems in their cars. Volvo's only concern is to roll iron and contain warranty costs. The net result is poor quality cars, poor customer satisfaction, and low resale value. An otherwise fine design betrayed by a manufacturer who refuses to back their product and acknowledge their mistakes. |
