Drove a loaded Tahoe for 5 years, and was ready to get another. First saw the MDX at the 2000 Texas State Fair Car Show, and loved its looks. Knew Acura produced quality cars, so I decided to start researching it against all other high-end SUVs. Motor Trend SUV of the Year, and countless other rave reviews led me to a test drive. One drive was the convincer. No question about the luxury feel, the quality, the 245 horses, the 18 mpg city. It beat everything else I compared it to. Hard to find. Acura can't build them fast enough. Patience paid off this February, when I finally took delivery on an Emerald Green MDX loaded with touring package and the nav system. In dash 6-disc and Bose sound is awesome. Driving it anywhere is pure pleasure. It is a head-turner everywhere I go. Wish I was entitled to a commission from Acura for all the viewings I've given interested passers-by! |
