Boy am I disappointed in Toyota and their customer service. A few days after purchasing a new 2001 Avalon XLS my steering wheel started to vibrate at speeds in excess of 62 MPH. I gave Toyota 6 chances to fix it (in VA the Lemon Law says I only needed to give them 3 times) but Toyota could not fix it. Suddenly there was no problem and the car was 'within specs'. I ended up going to arbitration and won. Now Toyota has to re-purchase the car from me. I genuinely tried to work with Toyota because the Avalon is a nice car for the money and I wanted to keep it. To bad. Toyota put me through 6-months of hell and as a result they have lost a very loyal customer. What happened to Toyota's promise of taking care of the customer? |
