This vehicle brings new meaning to the term Caveat Emptor. Although this car does have a nice outside appearance, looks can be VERY deceiving. From just about day one, this car has almost constantly broken down in some horrible way. If you are unfortunate enough to own this car, you should either be married to the dealer or live right next to them, because this piece of junk is a mechanic's special. Just about anything you can name has broken down at least once. The most flagrant problem is that this car has been leaking oil from the get go. It has been to the dealer numerous times to get this LIFE THREATENING PROBLEM 'fixed', yet this problem has never gone away. There have also been repeated problems with the radiator, shocks, battery, lights, inside and outside panels, the electrical system, windshield wiper motors, etc. What's even worse, both the dealers I visited and the parent company pass the buck to and from each other then double talk you into excluding coverage from the warranty for just about every problem. This way these thieves can profiteer from their miserable piece of garbage of a car. Basic maintenance costs are also inflated like crazy. This has resulted in total maintenance expenses that approach the cost of a new car!!! I finally got to a point where I became fed up and was forced to trade in this useless paper weight for another car. My final insult to already excessive injury from this useless nightmare of a car was that the trade in value was a complete joke. I suppose Volvo NA and Ford, their parent company, should be very proud about their manufacturing the WORST PIECE OF JUNK THAT EVER PASSED FOR AN AUTOMOBILE. Be forewarned, avoid THIS DISASTER OF A CAR AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
