Front seats not comfortable enough for the money I paid |
Advice to buyer: |
Unless you are pulling 8000 pounds or more, no need for the V-8, the 6 is just fine. |
Detailed review: |
Owned this SUV for a month and am very happy with performance, the drive, and most of all the quality of the fit and trim. Toyota needs to work on a few things: front seats are not comfortable enough for long drives, the running boards are useless as I have yet to use them and they just get in the way (there is about an inch and a half difference between the running board and the floor board), and the rear spoiler makes this SUV look like it has a bad hair do. (Toyota--hope that Jeep doesn't get their act together on quality one day.)But I still love it. The 6 cylinder has more than enough zip and is fun to drive. Looked at both the Sequoia and this 4 Runner and chose the 4Runner as it's just the right size for my needs. Sequoia was too big and not worth the extra $$$ over the 4Runner. I've been a 15 year Jeep owner and switched to Toyota for it's quality and I have not been disappointed.
