Hatchback door like other SUV's, but door can stay closed and rear window can open! Perfect room in the back seat for my 10 year old! |
Least favorite feature: |
Front doors are very short, and I have to duck to get in, and I am only 6 feet tall. Cannot be over 5 feet tall and sit in the back seat comfortably with a 2nd person. |
Advice to buyer: |
Get the luggage racks, before you buy. Dealer will say 'I'll get you some' but he is lying. |
Detailed review: |
Good strong SUV! Runs very tight, with good response from the engine. The last gear on the transmission could kick down a little more. Driving 60 mph only gets the tach down to just over 2000. Have achieved 22 mpg, but never 23. Never less than 18 though. Luggage on top really takes a chunk out of the mileage. Get a rack that attaches to the tow bar. Anti-lock brakes work great, as well as the VDC control, which keeps you from over accelerating/braking and losing control. |
