Center Guage with High-Beams on is blindingly bright |
Advice to buyer: |
Drive the i and s models. The extra 12-15 hp in the s may not be worth it to everyone. |
Detailed review: |
I looked at several competing models. This car is all over the Civic, Corolla, Neon, you name it. I kept coming back to this car because of the performance and general 'feel'. Quality is outstanding and I'd put the new Mazdas on equal footing with Honda and Toyota's reputed quality. Low-end torque is a little disappointing and there is an extremely (even dangerous) blue glow that emits from the center guage. The high-beam light combined withe guage design is very poorly designed; can't drive with the brights on when on backroads. Otherwise, great car. Need to fix the glow, though. |
