Advice to buyer: |
Why 4X4 when you can get a Z-66 with it's locking differential. Much better highway manners and accelleration than the 4X4. Keep the $3000 for gas, because you will want to drive it!!! |

My Chevy dealer had his first three avalanches pre-sold but I was able to drive one anyway. What treat!! Quiet,smooth and comfortable. I knew then the decision to order mine was easy! I didn't know how mine ride because I wanted the Z-66. My salesman said maybe a little softer but very similar to the Z-71. The performance very near my 99 Silverado. (excellent!) The steering not as precise as the silverado (rack and pinion vs. the reserculating ball) Tow/haul locks out overdrive the silverado would not unless it sensed it was working hard. |
