Advice to buyer: |
Buy it. It costs a little more than the Accent for very little money. |
Detailed review: |
We test drove and bought the Elantra Yesterday. We bought the manual, 5-speed basic package. To our surprise it has air, power windows, power doors, and cassette. This thing handles extremely well with all kinds of get up and go. It gets great gas mileage, 34/27. I expected that in the Accent but not the Elantra. We drove it from Columbus, Ohio to our home, 102 miles on less than 3 gallons of gas. I also want to mention the amount of room on the Elantra is extremely good. Much better than the Accent. The only negative I have with this vehicle is the road noise. There is not enough insulation and you tend to hear the road, sometimes very loud depending on the highway. |
