Actually purchased an 03 Elantra GLS new, had no problems
with the car until a couple months ago,when the transmission began to bang, or hesitate when shifting. One week ago I heard what sounded like an electrical short circuit, and the car almost shut down, then something 'caught', and the car continued to operate. Would like to hear from others who might have experienced this problem. Dealership put it on the diagnostic + said
'nothing wrong'.[I suspect if the warrenty period was over it might be a different story]Actually love the car, nice looking, reliable,nice qiuet smooth ride, + great in the snow + ice, believe it or not!All the amenities except power seats, the Hyundai service department in the dealership I purchased from leaves much to be desired, however... |
