This is an excellent review.
Others in this review area are crazy expecting 35 mpg from an 'SUV' wagon, especially when they admit they drive a truck that probably gets 8 mpg.
This car is really nice and gets near 30 mpg for us and we drive mostly in city.
I am 6 feet, 4 inches tall and have no problem fitting inside my Caliber, despite the fact we bought one that doesn't have the seat that moves up and down, so don't fret unless you are 8 feet tall.
The only advice I would enter is this: We bought ours right off the lot because we desperately needed a second car. We bought a stick shift - which at the time I didn't know how to drive - and one that didn't have all the bells and whistles. Also, my new car is bright yellow, which my wife doesn't care about, but it is not the best for me.
I guess I have just learned that next time I will wait a week before getting my new car.
Otherwise, the Caliber is a simply stunning car and I have had no problems with it for the first 4,000 miles. |
