Great power, solid truck but... Vortec 5300 burns 1 QT OIL EVERY 2000 MILES! GM claims this is normal and refuses to fix it. They have raised the oil consumption specs on it twice since 2000. Expect an Oil burner after 20K-25K miles. Except for engine this would be the perfect truck. Check your oil level often if you buy one! |
