This car will change your mind if you've avoided the Volvo due to either its stodgy styling or its somewhat stiff, European ride. The S80 T-6 is a departure from the boxy lines of the past, and is instead graceful and aggressive. The interior is spacious and luxuriously appointed, keeping virutually all road noise completely away from the passengers. The ride is soft and reminiscent of the most comfortable large sedans. The car has stability traction control which keeps the car glued to the road in tight, fast turns and helps track through any corner. The hardest braking results in practically no dive in front and very little tossing of the passengers. Opt for the surround sound stereo with the 4-Disc CD changer if you've any love of music. Both driver and passenger seats are 8-way power with two level heated seats to match any comfort level. The seatbelts are so smart that they will deploy at different decelleration rates depending on whether or not the front seatbelts are engaged.
This car is a joy to drive and is priced competitively below the other cars in its class. |
