Over all the 2003 Toyota Avalon XLS is the dream sedan for the American Family. The interior is spacious and comfortable. It has all of the electronic amenities that you could wish for including an excellent GPS Navigation system. The ride is smooth and quiet even on windy days. The engine could use a little more pep for the size and weight of the car. There are some minor design flaws however. Day or night, the automatic sensors on the dash reflect in the wind shield. At night, the dash reflects in the driver side window and on bright days, it is nearly impossible to read the radio or climate controls. However, in the scheme of things, these are minor annoyances in an otherwise excellent vehicle. I'm happy with my purchase and will probably end up keeping it for 12 years or more. |
