rear cargo area, not very easy to do grocery shopping. Everything rolls all over the back and because the gate comes down you have to climb in to retrieve the items. |
Advice to buyer: |
Wait until the squeek has been addressed (mine isn't the only one with the problem, according to the dealer there are 1,500 others having the lock and squeek problems. |
Detailed review: |
This is an exceptional vehicle. It has just two flaws that will drive one insane. The first is the door locks go into sporatic quick locking and unlocking while you are driving down the road and the second is there is a very load squeeking noice when you accellerate from a stop. Both of these are very annoying and have gone to the garage several time to be fixed but they cannot seem to find the cause. This alone would make me not purchase another Escalade.
Also, it needs to have climate control, driver 1 & 2 preset buttons and also radio controls on the steering wheel. |
