 Detailed review:

I did internet research before I hit the dealerships. Six out of seven of the dealerships I visited had sales people who I would consider almost completely ignorant concerning the MDS system and some of the other features. I bought a R/T with the R/T package two months ago in September. The odometer had eight miles on it when I test drove it. I took great care to break it in properly. I can not even get the 23 miles per gallon traveling down hill from Midland to Fort Worth TX with a tail wind traveling 65 MPH, no A/C or traffic much less the 25 MPG as advertised on the window sticker. I used the cruise control and the “FUEL SAVER MODE” indicator was lit approximately 83% of the time. For two months I have been trying to get in writing Dodge’s definition of “LIFETIME WARRANTY” and some questions relating to the electronic stability program (EPS) for “NORMAL, MINIMAL AND DISABLED MODES” answered. I e-mailed customerassist@chrysler.com. They referred me to page 223 which concerns my parking brake and parking on a hill. I mailed them back explaining their error. They replied informing me they could not help me. I had a problem with GM and their head gaskets a few years ago. I was informed they would replace a part only once even if it was still under warranty (Special Policy 98054A.) Replacement of the second head gasket was at my expense no matter the miles or months. What is the life expectance of a car, 100,000 or 150,000 miles? Some consider lifetime until the part wears out. That is the lifetime of the motor, transmission, etc. no matter if I am the original owner. How many times will Dodge replace or rebuild a motor?
