Do not believe the Fotd hype' about M.P.G. on this car, and get a longer warranty if you buy new. |

I bought my Focus wagon in Florida in '05. As of Sept' 07 I still own it. After 37,000 miles I only had one complaint which was a black exhaust even after a 3,000 mile trip to C.A. The dealership in San Leandro did't want to know as there was no MIL light on when I queried this.
After 37,000 miles it got hard to start but again no trouble codes were present. It is now on 44,000 and I cannot wait for the day when I can get rid of it I only get 22mpg around town and never more than 30 hwy.use. The alignment (I have found out) must have been out since I bought it as the inner tread was down to the wire at 37,000.I have always been a Ford buyer but this car has left a sour taste in my mouth and i will be buying a Toyota Camery as soon as I can get a good deal on one. |
