I bought this car with 35K miles. I am 58 years old and had forgotten what it was like to drive a head turning, exquisite piece of art like this S type. Buy one , well cared for, and you will experience 'car love' again. The fit and finish is extraordinary, the exterior/ interior design is unsurpassed and recalls the classic styling that I saw once driving down Van Ness avenue in San Francisco in 1970 and sighed and said 'Someday, maybe, I'd own one.' With the corrections and improvements and someone else's depreciation on this 2003, I figured it had been long enough. And here's a lesson, from experience, if you want something, don't wait too long, you'll just wonder why you did.
By the way, even if it barely moved, I'd have bought it but, as a bonus , this 'artwork' moves real quick and corners like the cat that it is . I believe this is the most bang for the buck you can get and that it will be more recognized later for what it is than it is today, sort of like a fine wine, with care, it will age well. |
