Get the pre-owned certified car. Wonderful warranty. |
Detailed review: |
I have owned this certified used X-5 3.0 since October, 2002. As a practical SAV that handles like a 5 series sedan it simply excels in all regards. The ride and point and shoot handling are wonderful. Front seats are firm and supportive for long trips and rear cargo room, though skimpy in comparison to other makes, is ample for me and my family. Acceleration is brisk and the brakes are BMW awesome. Our X-5 is equipped with a trailer hitch which is essential in transporting our bikes and kayaks. Yes, we use this car as a mule, which is the best nag in the stable. Reliability for 85,000 miles has been excellent and the the certified 100,000 mile warranty has fixed any minor problems we've had. I've had at least one BMW in my garage since 1969 and this is by far my favorite. |
