I would recommend but only as long as there is the 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty. It is a great, budget car with nice engine. |

I purchased a 2003 elantra 4-dr in January of 2004. The car handles really well and with the cost of gas, I love not having to re-fill the gas tank every day. So far, I've put about 30,00 miles on the car and had only one minor problem: the dash board computer says the front passenger side door is open when it is fully closed. A door open warning light comes on the dash. Took it to the dealership and was told a sensor needed to be replaced. They ordered the sensor, now 2-months later, I have the same problem.
However, for the most part the Hyndai Elantra is a very nice little budget car. |
