Detailed review: |
I actually went to the dealership to purchase the Q45. I test drove the M and it was the vehicle I was actually looking for. The car is firm, with that feeling of vault like quality. The interior is on par with other vehicles costing much more. In fact I saw exposed cup holders today in a $74,000 Volkswagen Phaeton. The handling was crisp, and the power was evident.
I had also visited the BMW dealership to look at both the 745 and 545, and I can tell you the 5 series has nothing on the M45, in fact, the M45 is under priced given it's feature set, engine, and quality. I was looking for a car that is unique, and the M45 is that. I will not see myself coming and going. The look has grown and me and I can say now that the choice I made was a good one. I have owned my M45 for six weeks and just came back from a long weekend in the LA area. The drive from Arizona to LA was a very pleasent one in which I cruised at 100 MPH effortlessly. The car is so stong and solid that 100 on freeway feels like normal driving. I heard no harsh wind noise, vibration, etc.
This was my first car is quite some time, as my last four vehicles have been SUV's, three Landcruisers, and one ML430. My last car prior to the M45 was a 94 Lexus GS300. The M45 is the best car I have owned to date.
I highly recommend this vehicle. |
