The 2004 Infiniti I35 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, available in one trim only, the Luxury. The 2004 Infiniti I35's competitors include the Audi A4, the Nissan Maxima, and the Subaru Outback. Upon introduction, the I35 is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 255-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2004 Infiniti I35 is a carryover from 2003.
