I love the radio controls on the steering wheel and the way the interior lights all light up red at night, looks awesome! |

My only complaint is that the luggage rack crossbars can easily be taken completely off by anyone who walks by |

Fun to drive, great looking SUV. There is an awesome amount of passenger room in this vehicle and the driver seat adjustments make it very comfortable to drive. I have the Metallic Blue Streak and it draws a lot of attention due to the fact that in certain lights it looks like a dark purple. The tinted windows, chrome fog lights, split grill and luggage rack really help give the Torrent the sporty look that makes peoples heads turn. I have really enjoyed sitting near the window in restaraunts and watching people stop and look it over.
The cargo shelf is a great feature and can be configured in many different ways. I also like the fact that the back seat will move forward 8 inches to make more cargo space. My friends all love the fact that the back seats recline. Another great feature about the seating is the 60/40 split rear seat for different cargo configurations and the ease in which the seats can be reclined or folded down. No need to reach under the seat and fumble with a lever, there is an easy to reach, quick release lever on the top of the seats. I've owned other SUV's and none of the back seats have ever been this easy to work with.
People seem to worry about suspension and how it rides. I would have to admit that you can feel bumps in the road while driving the Torrent, but since you are not driving a luxury car I don't see why that's a big deal. The suspension is better than most trucks and SUV's and is probably comparable to the average car. Again, it's not a luxury car with self-leveling shocks, so of course you are going to feel some movement.
It drives great, plenty of power with it's v6. Handles like a car and not a jerky SUV. The dashboard is low and easy to see over. All of the driver's controls are easy to reach and use. I absolutely love driving this thing. It's a lot of fun. I do hate having to wash the bugs off of the grill though. But I have to because it's such a great looking ride that I cannot let it be dirty.
I highly recommend the Torrent to anyone who needs some extra room but does not want to look like a soccer mom. Or even to soccer mom's who want to look cool.
