Detailed review: |
As a pro Japanese car owner for years I thought that I would give the VW a shot. Driving a Toyota Camry for 11 years 1995 Camry XLE this car put a lot of cars even now to shame. I test drove the Passat, I was quite pleased I went for the 2.0 because I felt that power was there and the great gas mileage. (approx. 700km per tank) Overall I am happy, the engine noise is a little louder than the camry but I believe it is VW trademark to have that diesel growl like sound. The radio does get annoying when listening to a song and the EQ just goes out of whack. The seating doesnt have an adjusting for tilt on seating surface, it is very hard to find that perfect seating position, I owned the Passat now for 2 months and I am still finding myself playing with seating adjustments. These are petty dislikes though overall I am pleased and this vehicle looks smart. |
