 Advice to buyer:

Get the 8 cylinder if you don't mind even worse gas mileage.

 Detailed review:

This is the 6 cylinder model, but is pretty loaded with extras. The sound system is definitely above average even by today’s standards. Seating position is by far one of the best out there. It feels more like sitting in a very comfortable chair – more so than any car I’ve driven (and I’ve driven a bunch). The ride is luxurious and very quiet even on rough surfaces at highway speeds. The trunk access from the inside of the car is a nice touch, especially if you have a single occupant back there who wants to get something out. One of the best things about the car is its coolness. It gets stares, and you just feel a little edgier driving it. Braking is average. On the down side of things, the engine seriously lacks power. I’m confident the 8 cylinder would move this big car much better. For such a weak motor, the gas mileage isn’t very impressive, either. I averaged around 18mpg overall, using 4 full tanks with mixed driving – more in town. Of course, feeling like I was in a tough and cool car, I did drive it a little harder than one would if he wanted better gas mileage. The transmission shifts just fine, though. Sporty? Hardly. It floats, sways, and is quite a beast to maneuver. The only time it feels sporty is when it is stopped. The interior looks and feels cheap, like many of today’s Chrysler products. Steering was fine, except the turning radius is too wide. It makes for difficult parking, but this could be simply due to the size of this car. Also, it is not very user-friendly. The controls are in strange and “out of normal reach” places. A lever for operating the cruise control is in the way, sticking out in just the wrong place on the left-hand side of the steering column – and it’s not simple to figure out. Another shockingly disappointing thing is the rear seat headroom. Average men don’t fit. Overall, if you can get one for around $25,000, you’re getting a deal – especially if your main goal is luxurious comfort and an impressively quiet, cool-looking ride. For those shopping for an ideal car for long rides, look no further than the Dodge Charger. This car is so easy on the body. Few others can even come close in this price range. Otherwise, if you want economy, sportiness, quality and a well-thought interior, you’d do better looking at the Hyundai Azera, Buick LaCross, or the new Saturn Aura.
