GM didn't offer the 3:73 rear end on this year you could only get the 3:42 )in which mine has) or the 4:10 rearend and the 3:42 rear end isn't a good towing rear end and 4:10 is a gas guzzler. the 2007 is putting in the 3:73 standard now. |
Advice to buyer: |
If plan on doing any heavy towing (travel trailer) I would make sure it had the 4:10 rear end |
Detailed review: |
I had a 2001 before I got the 2005 Great vehicle great ride handling fuel mileage.
The only real complaint I have with GM is the deleted options that were standard on the 2001 model and don't even offer it on 2005 model for example no glove compartment light, no under hood light, electric seat only on the drivers side, spare tire didn't have raised white letters when ordered with raise white letters option, etc. and also as much as GM charges for a new car I don't see why we should have to pay for Onstar and XM satilite radio separtely I think those items should be included in the price of the vehicle but otherwise I would buy another Tahoe.
I think the 2007 Tahoe is going to be another great vehicle I think it is a sharp looking vehicle. |
