I recently purchased a 2007 C70, it is the real deal in every way!!! My previous C70 was not so perfect, I bought my 2004 C70 new in March of 2004. I loved, and still do love my Car. As time has gone on, I have realized a few flaws that must, and apparently have been addressed. First of all, the Shake and lack of rigidity for such an expensive car is poor. This car was not very well planned out, I have the larger wheels which rub against the wheel wells, I have had trouble with the steering, and in the last two years when I start the car, it seems to rev and then stal immediately, I have to wait 10 seconds and start again, this second try usually works, but again, Russian Roulette with a car of this stature is just not appropriate. Cowl shake is also poor, and I am not that happy with the handling. With all of this being said, I love the car on a whole, it has been fairly reliable, and the workmanship is unmistakable, I find the comfort incredible, as well as the appearance. Last week I went into Volvo for service and looked for a second time at the new 2007 C70, I fell in love and soon bought the newer, more rigid, and 10X better version. After the test drive, I was sold...the differences are unreal, I would prefer this new C70 over ANY german counterpart, and I have to reccomend the same to any C70 owner. |
